V. Family Portraits // Gulf Breeze,FL Photography

       I did a thing one day in late November. I contacted google to bump up my marketing. I was so excite to finally advertise my services online outside of Facebook and my inner circle. But the moment I signed up I was thinking what a terrible idea it was and quickly thought about canceling it. Just then the phone rang and it was Katie V. 

      Katie had been looking for a family photographer to photograph her lovely family that included her husband and 3 small children. She wanted to capture all the family in the the beautiful Florida outdoors. She stated that she had not had professional photos of the family in over 5 years.

    I asked her how she found me and she said she was online searching for a photographer and had about given up when my Google ad showed up. She saw my work and wanted to book right away! When she told me that I about jumped out of my chair and told her that I was about to pull the plug on my ad about 3 mins. before she called. We planned out session 3 weeks later. Needless to say was thrilled to meet my lucky client!

     The evening came to photograph the V. Family while I waited with 6 other of my closest photographer friends ( they were there waiting for their clients too). We all tried to guess what client belonged to each photographer as they all stepped out of their vehicles. It was finally my turn to greet my clients the lovely V. Family.

     The moment all 5 members of the V Family walked out I was just blown away. They came ready for their photos and had the most loveliest color coordinated outfits. They could not of picked a better color scheme to go with the woods location. I always tell my clients to pick neutral and earth toned clothes for these type of sessions. My goal is to give my clients a timeless photo session. So in 20 years when you look back you are not wondering by the heck you wore that terrible outfit. I often go back and forth with my clients helping them choose their outfits. 

   Overall this session we truly created magic. I am so glad I didn't cancel that damn ad got to meet this wonderful family. Katie later sent me the following message after I delivered her gallery.  

“Hey girl it's Katie! I know you have alot of clientele  but just wanted you to know how much I appreciated what an amazing job you did on our family pictures! I gave my dad a photo book and he just called me crying. He said it was the best Christmas present ever!”
