Meet George and his humans!

George could not of been more happier with this cool weather we have been experiencing in the FL panhandle. With that long thick white and polka dot coat no wonder George was in heaven since our weather is probably really hot for him on most days.

We took George out to his favorite park which was just a few steps from his home that he also shared with his feline friends. Once we got out by the water he was release from his leash to get ready for his photos. He didn't know what to do with his new-found freedom and soon found himself rolling around in the grass. He came awfully close to the water's edge a few times and made us a pretty nervous as we all thought he just might jump in and take a dip.

Our goal this day was to document George in all his glory, paying close attention to the every unique detail that made George his sweet lovable self. We hoped to get a few photos but we soon found out that George was a real charmer. I guess you can say he was made for the spotlight.

When I asked about how this wonderful pup like George came into his humans life it was quite the story. So George was originally a rescue of the neighbors and soon his humans found themselves watching him until he made himself so comfortable with them that they decided to keep him. He was the first dog for his human family and ended up being the perfect fit.

When planning this session I explained to the family that in order to best capture George it would be in his best to photograph him in his natural setting. I would not force myself of him and let him lead. George would also be watched from a close distant making sure I did not make him feel uncomfortable since after all he was the star of the show. I also wanted to make sure I paid special attention when capturing the intimate bonds he shared with humans.

While his humans have many photos of George they found themselves with an excess amount of blurry photos from the constant movement of their guy. (I have a little Boston that doesn't stay still either.) So it was a no brainer for them to celebrate their George with a photo session fit for their perfect pup. Again they were hoping for a few photos but were blown away with the completed gallery since George photographed so well.

If you are thinking of having your fur baby, bird or any other little friend photographed I would love to chat. I want to create timeless images for you to enjoy for generations to come.- Jessica
