How to Feel Comfortable in Front of the Camera
One of the first things people tell me when they book a session is, "We're awkward in front of the camera." My answer is always the same—you don't have to know what you're doing. That's my job.
The best photos don't come from perfectly posed smiles or everyone looking directly at the camera. They come from genuine moments. During your session, I'll guide you every step of the way with simple prompts instead of stiff poses. I'll ask you to walk together, hold hands, cuddle your little ones, whisper something funny, or simply enjoy being with each other.
This family embraced the day exactly as it came. The wind was blowing, hair was flying, and the kids were laughing nonstop. Instead of fighting the weather, we made it part of the story. They chased each other across the beach, played in the sand, shared hugs, and forgot the camera was even there. That's when the magic happened.
